Being hydrated helps your skin get ready for your new tattoo and makes sure your system isn't  overly stressed before your appointment

Make sure you eat a big healthy breakfast or lunch before your appointment.

Also bring snacks and water to your appointment in case you need them, if you are getting tattooed for 3+ hrs consider bringing a lunch as well.

Getting tattooed takes a lot out of the body so make sure you fuel it properly to set yourself up for the best experience.

Moisturize in the days and weeks before your appointment.

Gently exfoliate the area the day before, this removes dead skin and helps while tattooing, happy skin makes for a happy tattoo!

Not being well rested can actually make getting a tattoo harder!

By getting a good sleep you will be able to focus and relax during your tattoo
